Raman Scattering Diagnostics in the Presence of Al2O3

Abstract

An experiment was conducted to determine the effect of Al2O3 on the Raman scattering from N2 and O2 in the presence of Al2O3. It was found that within the experimental accuracy, no effect could be determined. Furthermore, the presence of Al2O3 could also be ascertained using the Raman effect although no quantitative results are as yet available.
