Abstract

YCHIATRIC Association London Symposium: Current Concepts of Schizophrenia.Lester,James T. ;ONRL-C-1-73(*mental disorders, symposia), (*psychoses, symposia), state-of-the-art reviews, psychiatry*schizophreniaThe symposium was organized in terms of five topic areas: Diagnostic Concepts, Transmission of Schizophrenia, Schizophrenia and the Community, Psychotherapy and Treatment. There were 28 papers, given by psychiatrists from 17 countries. Countries best represented by papers were Great Britain, Switzerland, Norway and Finland. The Eastern bloc was represented by papers from Russia, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, and Czechoslovakia.
