Automation in Health Care Delivery in Denmark,

Abstract

The efforts at automation of health care delivery are centered at two major centers in Copenhagen. In one instance (Rigshospitalet), the major effort is directed to administrative and medical support functions, while, at Gentofte Hospital, efforts are active in the medical scientific aspect of patient care. In the later instance, two computers, one for operational use and one for research purposes, are available. In both instances, rapid progress may be anticipated in the next few years. (Author)
