Automation in Health Care Delivery in France,

Abstract

The sophistication in use of automated procedures is apparent at Institut National de la Sante et la Recherche Medicale. Administrative, medical and research areas are involved in this work. The research in free language texts for medical information is a basic study which, when completed, will immeasurably aid in computerization of this data. The central control of hospitals in Paris offers an opportunity for an integrated approach to the problems of health care delivery. (Author)
