French-Soviet Cooperation in Space Research,

Abstract

Slightly more than 5 years have passed from the 1966 signing of an intergovernmental agreement between Soviet Union and France on cooperation in the field of the study and mastering of space for peaceful purposes. During this comparatively small period, the scientists of both countries have been successful in jointly accomplishing several space projects of extreme scientific and practical value.
