Comments on the Geodetic Reference System 1967 (Bemerkungen ueber des Geodaetische Referenzsystem 1967),

Abstract

The paper is based on two official documents of the IUGG and IAG on the Geodetic Reference System 1967. The author is convinced that in deriving the parameters of the reference ellipsoid and the parameters of the formula for normal gravity, error equations must be set up, which contain all the quantities derived by observation, i.e. geodetic, astronomic, gravimetric, and those obtained by satellite geodesy; here a joint adjustment must be performed.
