Survivable P-Channel Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (PMOS) Computer Design.

Abstract

The significance of this project to the Air Force is the fact that it provides assessment, and develops specifications for employment, of advanced radiation-hardened field-effect 4i.e., Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (MOS) and Metal-Nitride-Oxide-Semiconductor (MNOS)5 technologies for military/space computer systems. The characteristics and capabilities of the device and packaging technologies, required for MOS/MNOS computer construction, are defiend and compared to the techniques and hardware requirements for long-life computer systems. A computer architecture is derived from the comparison analysis. (Authro Modified Abstract)
