Abstract

Research summarized here was conducted to: Apply semigroup theory and modern functional analysis to boundary value problems and initial value problems for partial differential equations; Develop a unified theory of stochastic processes and diffusion theory; Consider other stochastic processes such as waiting line and traffic problems; Extend the study of stochastic processes from Euclidian or closely related spaces to more general ones.
