Inductance of a Cryogenic Synchronous Machine with a Damping System,

Abstract

The natural inductance of the damping system of a cryogenic synchronous machine without a ferromagnetic circuit is calculated. The mutual inductances are determined for a damper with windings and graphs are given for the dependences of mutual inductances on the relative geometric dimensions of the machine.
