Thermoelectric Batteries of Increased Effectiveness,

Abstract

The advantages of tube batteries intended for use in thermoelectric air conditioners are analyzed. The factors determined during the development of rational designs of such batteries are examined. An analytical study was made of the temperature fields of a half-cell and heat conductor, which is simultaneously also a current conductor, for the particular conditions of their operation. The corresponding dependences are obtained, including an expression for determining the distribution of temperature in the junction between the half-cell and the heat conductor. (Author)
