Verb Semantics in a Relational Data Base System,

Abstract

One of the immediate tasks of computational linguistics is to make it possible for a researcher untrained in computer science to communicate with the computer in natural language. The environment in which the discussion is set is that of a question-answering system with underlying relational data bases called the REL (Rapidly Extensible Language) System.
