The Application of Data Processing to Mechanical Testing: Part 3: Flexural Tests and Tensile Tests on Rubbers.

Abstract

The report describes the use of data- processing as an aid to the mechanical testing of rigid materials in flexure and rubbery materials in tension. The computer- calculated results are in general agreement with those obtained by conventional means, but with improved accuracy, and with a considerable saving in time and effort. (Author-PL)
