Turbulent Jet Calculations,

Abstract

The effectiveness of several simple eddy viscosity models depending solely on the local mean flow properties is examined for coaxial and two-dimensional jets with and without coflowing stream. It is shown that a simple modification of the classic Prandtl model leads to improved agreement in the case of a non zero coflowing stream. (Author)
