Method of Changing the Current Flux of Conducting Fluids,

Abstract

A method for changing the flow rate of conducting fluids in rectangular ducts with ratio of lengths of the sides in cross section of not less than 3:1 and with range inner surfaces by changing the magnetic field is described. The method differs in this sense that for utilization at high temperatures, the vector of the magnetic field is rotated in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the flow. (Author)
