Attachment for Laser Microirradiation for the Biological Microscope,

Abstract

An attachment which permits easy conversion of any biological microscope into a device for laser microradiation was constructed by means of comparatively uncomplicated alteration of the domestically produced OI-17 luminescent opaque-illuminator. This alteration includes replacement of the diffraction plate intended for reflection of stimulated luminescence on the objective, by a similar plate, selectively reflecting the spectral range of laser radiation and allowing the remaining part of the spectrum to pass through, as well as installation of a telescopic ocular on a side connection of the opaque-illuminator.
