Self-Adjusting Closed Digital System for the Programmed Control of the Finishing of Turbine Blades,

Abstract

At the Sevastopol'skiy Instrument Making Institute a closed digital system has been developed for the programmed control of the process of machining the foil of turbine blades of the high and medium pressure stages on machine tools which are equipped with electric drives. Control of the movements of the working elements of the machine tool is realized by a program which is written on a six-track magnetic tape.
