Achievements of the Hungarian Canning Industry in the Sealing Field,

Abstract

Certain glass jars recommended by SEV are being serially produced and used for unification. A significant part of the canned goods exported to the USSR is packed in this type container. The fact that the jar is re-used by the Hungarian canning industry for canned goods raises the economy of Hungarian canning production. The Phoenix sealing method is reliable and allows the jars to be opened easily. It is now being modernized--instead of the rubber ring, a sealing paste seals the jar.
