Symbol Designs for the Graphic Symbol Subset of the ASCII,

Abstract

Symbols in the Graphic Symbol subset of the ASCII were designed for use on AWACS(Airbone Waring And Control Systems) displays. These graphic symbol designs also are recommended for use in other systems where accurate and rapid symbol identification by operators is desirable. (Author)
