DS-65 Toned Asphalt Concrete Mixer,
Abstract
The mobile asphalt mixer DS-65 is an entire complex of equipment necessary for receiving supplies from the transport facilities, introducing the raw materials into the production process, preparing the asphalt concrete mixes of any specified formula, and delivering the prepared mix to dump trucks. The units included in the mixer (the feeding unit, drying unit, mixing unit, mineral powder unit, bitumen dispensing tank, control cab) are mounted on individual trailers which ride on pneumatic tires. The units, in their operating position, constitute a single process line for preparing an asphalt concrete mix. The processes of measuring out the raw materials, mixing them and delivering the prepared mix to the storage bunker are automated. All the subassemblies of the units are remotely controlled from the cab.
