Unsteady Thermal Conductivity of Cylindrical Partitions with a Variable Coefficient of Heat Exchange,

Abstract

To detect the temperature field in a number of devices, for example, in the wall of a reactive motor or the body of a rocket, one must solve the equations of thermal conductivity with non-symmetrical boundary conditions. The analytical calculations present in literature of the methods are true only for cases of constant coefficients of heat exchange. However, under actual conditions, the warm-up process, as a rule, is accompanied by essential changes in the coefficients of heat emission according to time. (Author)
