Automated Preparation of Digital Topographic Data,

Abstract

The report contains descriptions and documentation for four related computer programs developed to completely automate the process of preparing digital topographic data (DTD) for applications such as computerized combat situation. Basic DTD source data, supplied in standard packed-octal format by the Defense Mapping Agency, are converted to a format which can be effectively used by any FORTRAN program.
