Microwave Network Synthesis.
Abstract
SMISSION LINES, INTEGRATED CIRCUITS, MATHEMATICAL MODELSNETWORK SYNTHESIS, *ACOUSTIC WAVES, *SURFACE WAVES, INTERDIGITAL TRANSDUCERS, SURFACE WAVES, EQUIVALENT CIRCUITSThe results of a theoretical and experimental study of the surface-acoustic-wave grating transducer are presented. The results of a study of several transducer structures that were designed to result in enhanced excitation of surface acoustic waves at odd-harmonic frequencies are also presented. Equivalent-circuit models for a 'hybrid' multisection grating structure having one floating electrode per section and for an interdigital structure having an arbitrary 'mark-to-space' ratio are described. A compact channel-dropping-filter geometry consisting of hairpin bandpass and folded-line bandstop filters is described for stripline and microwave intergrated circuits. Design tables and theoretical and experimental data for a trial channel-dropping filter are presented. (Author Modified Abstract)
