Time-Dependent Fast-Neutron and Secondary Gamma-Ray Spectrum Measurements in Concrete. Volume 3.

Abstract

Measurements which supplement the 1969 Gulf Radiation Technology concrete shielding experiment, involving fast-neutron and secondary gamma-ray transport, have been performed. These are measurements of source neutron energy spectra and trace element concentrations which contribute to capture gamma-ray production in concrete. In addition, some of the 1969 data have been reanalyzed and renormalized. The resulting measured data are tabulated and compared with data are tabulated and compared with data calcualted using the MORSE and SAM-CE Monte Carlo codes. The limitations of the measurements and calculations are reviewed. (Author)
