An Analysis of the Management of Military and Civil Service Personnel to Delineate Inherent Problems which Degrade Logistics Management

Abstract

The report is concerned with the potential for conflict between military personnel and civil servants at the working level as a constant threat to the Air Force manager. The probability and magnitude of this conflict depend to a substantial degree on how these people perceive each other. Adequate knowledge of how people working together perceive their interrelationships, and what factors affect their perception are discussed in relation to coping with conflict should it arise.
