Experimental Absorption Coefficients for Eleven CO Laser Lines

Abstract

The report describes experimental measurements of molecular absorption coefficients for H2O-N2 mixtures using a multipass absorption cell and a CO laser source. Eleven highly transmitting CO lines between 1854.933 and 1978.586/cm were studied. Results are compared with synthetic spectrum calculations for three different line shapes.
