The Influence of the Structural Shape and Stress Concentrators on the Strength of Unevenly Heated Turbine Disks,

Abstract

Curves of the dependence of deformation on the time of test and revolution of failure of non-uniformly heated turbine disks of alloy EI-787 were obtained. It was shown that disks of lightened profile were deformed more and failed at lower revolutions of rotation than disks of normal profile. It was shown that the bottom of the gap on the rim, and with long-term failure - the hub of the disks should be considered the center of failure of the disks in the absence of concentrators.
