A Dipole-Slot Antenna,
Abstract
A dipole-slot antenna consisting of a waveguide-slot radiator in the form of a short-circuited segment of a rectangular waveguide and a symmetric dipole radiator differs in that, to provide for separate reception or transmission of mutually perpendicular electromagnetic waves in a broad frequency band, the indicated symmetric dipole radiator is positioned above the wave-guide-slot radiator and parallel to the slot.
