Computer Based Information Systems and the Middle Manager.
Abstract
The paper addresses the needs of the Army's middle operating management. It addresses the problem by discussing the answers to these questions: What is a computer based informaton system. How is a computer based information system developed. How does one use a computer based information system. Why do some computer based information systems succeed while others fail. It concludes with eleven recommended areas that middle management must understand in order to effectively use computer based information systems. (Modified author abstract)
