Does a Commander-EM (Enlisted Men) Communications Gap Exist in the U. S. Army Reserve.
Abstract
The discussion concerns a communications gap between enlisted men and their commanders in the US Army Reserve. Research methodology included a literature search, informal interviews, and discussions of the problem with enlisted men, non-commissioned officers and commanders, both company grade and field grade, of the US Army Reserve. Opinions, conclusions and recommendations reflect the author's service in the US Army Reserve in diversified units in various staff and command positions, from a company grade officer to that of a senior field grade officer. The conclusion is that the problem of a communications gap between enlisted men and commanders may be considerably overstated.
