Improving Training Assistance from Army Schools to Army Training Managers.

Abstract

U. S. Army service schools have been responsible to provide instructional/reference materials to training managers of the Active Army and Reserve Components for many years. Regardless of what the service schools did however, it was apparent that far too many of those in charge of training were not aware of the assistance available to them. Research of current management and operational procedures, training directives, and training studies resulted in a conclusion that a viable communications link can be established. The service schools must take the initiative and 'sell' their training products to all who have a need for them. The service schools must look outside their academic walls, and provide training assistance to every individual, unit, or staff that needs help in those subject areas for which they have proponency.
