Strategy and Its Influence in Developing Criteria for Army Reserves.
Abstract
The impact of strategy considerations on the reserve forces and specifically of the Army Reserve is evaluated with the purpose of identifying relevant criteria that must be considered in developing a reserve force. Attention is given to the role of Army Reserve as an element of power in supporting the attainment of national goals. A theoretical basis is formulated in describing the role for the Army Reserve within the overall military strategy concepts for the present and in the future. (Author)
