Ulster, Some Causes and Effects of Low Intensity Operations, 1969-1972.

Abstract

The questions addressed are of the causes of conflict in Ulster, the United Kingdom Province of Northern Ireland, and of the effects of British troops there in peacekeeping operations from 1969 through 1972. Data was gathered from interviews with operations observers, from a literature search, and from monitoring news releases. The viewpoints of people interviewed were developed from published data.
