Observation and Study of Infrasonic Waves in the Atmosphere.
Abstract
The report covers the observations and studies of the infrasonic-wave activity carried out at the Huancayo Observatory (12 degrees 02 minutes 12 seconds S 75 degrees 19 minutes 06 seconds W) during the period of June 1, 1970 to October 31, 1971. The main effort during this period had been on: The determination of the infrasonic wave-activity level at the Huancayo array and the analysis and interpretation of the infrasonic wave data gathered at the Huancayo array complemented with the Jicamarca radar and Huancayo radio sonde information.
