Head Protection for the Military Aviator.
Abstract
Preliminary review of the problem of head protection resulted in the three tasks discussed in this report. Task 2 is an evaluation of the currently manufactured military aviator helmets. Task 2 is an evaluation of the current state-of-the-art of helmet fabrication. Task 3 is concerned with the areas where significant information is lacking for improvements in helmet design. (T.K.-PL)
