Deep Moored Instrument Station Cruise Report: NORPAX Cruise 7302; R/V ALEXANDER AGASSIZ, February 5-23, 1973.

Abstract

The primary objectives of NORPAX Cruise 7302 were: (1) Service and calibrate all SIO Catamaran buoys; (2) Recover Buoy no. 56. The Secondary objectives were: (1) STD lowerings every 1/2 degree between 43 degrees N and 30 degrees N to a depth of 1000 meters. (2) XBT drops every 1/2 degree throughout cruise. (3) Hydrographic casts as calibration check of STD and XBT. (4) Continuous record of surface temperature and salinity from thermosalinograph. (Author)
