Sea Spectra and Radar Scattering,

Abstract

Bistatic radar observation of the power spectrum in ocean wave number space is proposed, and a geometric analysis made of the point mapping from ocean wave spectrum space to delay-Doppler space. In addition, a relationship is found between the Phillips spectrum 'B constant' and the observed HF radar sea return. (Author)
