Effects or Certain Environment Factors on Human Social Behavior.

Abstract

A review is made of the effects of physical environmental conditions on human behavior. What physical environmental conditions are involved follow the discussion of motivational and conceptual issues. A discussion of conceptual issues serves to establish the particular orientations chosen for the paper. The discussion of motivational issues focuses on the applied nature of much of the research to date, exploring the selection of variables for examination, and explaining why such selection invalidates much of the literature. The second major section of the report is organized into sections dealing with specific environmental conditions. The third section contains a brief summary, some organizing ideas, and suggestions for future research. (Modified author abstract)
