Note Concerning Multi-Photon Ionization by a Laser Beam,

Abstract

A recent study by Kroll and Watson indicates that collision broadening of lines could greatly enhance multi-photon transitions between discrete molecular states. The implications of this for multi-photon ionization are discussed. (Author)
