Dual-Band Vari-Polarization Beacon Antenna.

Abstract

The report describes the work performed to confirm the feasibility of integrating a Ku-band radiator with an existing X-band antenna design and to provide the dual band capability with an increase in bandwidth to 6 per cent. Pattern coverage was to be omnidirectional in azimuth and to extend from 0 to 60 degrees in elevation with a +1 dB gain. (Modified author abstract)
