Abstract

The report represents the compilation of the concepts, views and philosophies of Generals Palmer and Polk as stated in their interview series as a part of the 1971-72 Senior Officer Debriefing Program, as well as a comparison of the General officers set against their eras in the service. The tapes and transcripts used in the preparation of the report are filed in the manuscript section of the US Army Military History Research Collection, Carlisle Barracks Pennsylvania. (Author)
