An Instrument for Checking Turbine Blade Profile,
Abstract
A pneumatic gage for the checking of the profile of turbine blades in several sections is available, consisting of a body, elements for rigid fastening of the measuring parts, nozzle units, working surfaces which are equidistant to the design profiles of the blade, a pneumatic system with a series of pressure gage tubes for gaging the deviation of the blade profile from that designed, and a gang switching device.
