Tracking Decrement as a Result of Grip Holding Endurance,

Abstract

The study is designed to answer three basic questions: (1) does prior loading in terms of grip holding cause a significant decrement in tracking ability as measured on a pursuit rotor; (2) if a decrement does exist, how long does it exist; and (3) can this decrement be predicted if one knows the endurance to which the subjects have been loaded. Ten male subjects were tested on a pursuit rotor before and after being subjected to specific levels of loading on a grip holding device. (Modified author abstract)
