Canadian Armed Forces Unification: Possible Model for the United States.

Abstract

Canada has adopted a unified organizational concept for her armed forces. Why. Are factors similar to those which led Canada to this concept at work in the US environment and if so, would such a concept work in the much larger military force. A survey of the literature on Canadian forces unification, US unification efforts to date, and other literature written on the two defense establishments was conducted. (Modified author abstract)
