The Need for a National Population Policy.

Abstract

The paper calls attention to the need for a national population policy, addresses the issues involved, and in particular addresses and assesses those actions taken to date to come to grips with the implications of population growth in America. Source documents include Congressional records, and special reports, supplemented by periodicals, the news media, interviews, special studies, and other published works. With the world resources declining and the world population increasing a crucial question faces the world and the United States. Population cannot increase forever; there are limits. How will they be imposed.
