New Laws: Clean Waters in the Next Decade.
Abstract
The basic question was whether the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended, particularly by the 1972 Act, would provide the nation with clean waters in the next decade. Information was gathered using literautre search and from enacted public laws. There are many obstacles to achieve clean waters in the next decade but with continued public support and high national priority, the restoration of the national waters is a realistic achievement at some time in the future.
