Revenue Sharing for the 1970s.
Abstract
Revenue sharing and alternative proposals to revenue sharing are analyzed to determine their utility during the next decade to provide federal fiscal assistance to state and local governments. The analysis focuses on the intergovernmental relationships and public policy implications to evaluate the potential for reducing fiscal imbalances between the requirements for public services and support at the state and local level and the fiscal resources available.
