The Soviet Ninth Five Year Plan - Fact or Fiction.
Abstract
A breif review of Soviet economic history is made in order to provide a foundation against which to measure the latest plan (1971-1975). The report provides a macro analysis of the plan in its three key sectors; industry, agriculture, and distribution of national income. The plight of the consumer is also examined in some detail. Data was gathered using a literature search, with heavy emphasis placed upon the verbatim transcription of the detailed plan. Labor productiviey and agricultural outputs are identified.
