The Application of Image Sensing Arrays to Metrology, Detection and Mapping.

Abstract

The report covers the third year of a research effort devoted to the study of the application of image sensing arrays and related problems. Recent progress in the areas of optical data acquisition, signal perturbation theory and map processing under computer control is reported. The future work will continue to be concerned with the fundamentals of optical measurements and contributing to the growth of this technology. It is intended that the results of this effort will ultimately be applied to map processing. (Author)
