Pressure Dependence of the Elastic Constants of NaCl at Low Temperatures,

Abstract

The paper presents the elastic constants of single crystal NaCl at pressures up to about 4 Kbar in the temperature range of 180K to 300K. The data is used to calculate the Gruneisen parameters. The authors also predict the shock velocity and the particle velocity relationship using the ultrasonic data. (Author)
