Attributes of Integrated Logistic Support Organizations Within Selected Navy Weapons System Acquisition Projects

Abstract

Integrated logistic support is examined from the viewpoint of its history and its contemporary implementation within sixteen selected Navy weapon systems acquisition projects. A two-step analysis uses as criteria current ILS policy and Scott's organization model. The objective of the research was to determine the attributes common to contemporary ILS endeavors.
